Task-Based Resourcing Settings

You can control the elements of the Create Resource Requests from Project Tasks, Create Held Resource Requests from Project Tasks, and Create Assignments from Project Tasks windows using the following fields in the Task-Based Resourcing custom setting.

Assignment Columns  

The API name of the Assignment field set that defines the read-only columns in the Create Assignments from Project Tasks window.

Unsupported field types are: ID, Geolocation, Text (Encrypted), Time, Formulas, Auto Number, Roll-Up, Picklist (Multi-Select), and Summary. Text Area field types are supported but do not support line breaks.

Assignment Editable Columns   The API name of the Assignment field set that defines the editable columns in the Create Assignments from Project Tasks window. N/A
Assignment Groupings  

The Project Task Assignment field set that defines available fields for grouping assignments in the Create Assignments from Project Tasks window.

Add the API name of the field set that contains the fields that you want to display in the Grouping Criteria list.

If you do not add a field set, the default options of Resource Role, Resource, and Milestone are displayed.

Held Resource Request Groupings   The Project Task Assignment field set that defines available fields for grouping held resource requests in the Create Held Resource Requests from Project Tasks window.

Add the API name of the field set that contains the fields that you want to display in the Grouping Criteria list.

If you do not add a field set, the options of Resource Role, Resource, External Resource, and Milestone are displayed.
