Adding Project Tracking to the Project Detail Layout

Using the Feature Console, the Project Tracking Against Billing Cap feature enables you to add the Project Tracking section and its associated fields to the Project Detail Layout page layout on the Project object. The Project Tracking section enables you to:

• Track a project against a billing cap, which is the bookings total.
• Configure PSA to send alert emails when the value in Percentage Used field equals or exceeds the value entered in the Alert Threshold field. This indicates the project billings total is over the threshold percentage of the bookings total.
• Optionally configure PSA to automatically stop the release of billing events for projects that exceed their billing cap.
