New Features and Enhancements in PSA Summer 2026
The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2026 release of PSA.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to PSA Summer 2026. This provides a summary of the items that have been added for each feature and details of any required upgrade steps.
If you are upgrading from a version earlier than Spring 2026, check the documentation for previous releases for upgrade details.
Streamline Staffing with Smart Reallocation and Resource Recommendations
We have added the following enhancement to the Reallocate window to provide a more consistent user experience:
Dynamic Default Grouping for Reallocation
When reallocating the records in the Work Planner, the Reallocate window now adopts the Group By setting from your Work Planner view by default. You can group the records by record, resource, or project when the Reallocate window is open. Columns dynamically adjust depending on the applied grouping.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Efficient Group-Level Selection for Reallocation
You can perform bulk updates more efficiently using checkboxes adjacent to the record name at the group level in the Reallocate window. When viewing records grouped by resource, project, or record, selecting or deselecting a parent record automatically updates all associated child records and vice versa. This saves you the time and effort of selecting all records at once.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Efficient Scheduling with the Today Button on Calendar
Managing timelines is now faster and more intuitive with the addition of the Today button in the date picker. This enhancement streamlines navigation throughout the Work Planner by allowing you to instantly jump to the current date when modifying records. Regardless of the view or grouping you're using, this shortcut eliminates manual scrolling and ensures your project timelines remain accurate with minimal effort.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Improved Focus with Resource and Project Pinning
You can pin multiple resources or projects using the
button on the toolbar. Pinned records remain visible when you reload planners, search for resources or projects, and when you apply filters. The toolbar toggles between pin and unpin based on your selection, and all pinned items are saved automatically, remaining persistent even after a page refresh.
When you click Load More, pinned records load first, followed by the remaining resource or project data. This keeps priority rows in view on large data sets that reach the maximum results limit.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Enhanced Splitting to Held and Unheld Requests
You can now split existing assignments or resource requests into new resource requests directly within the Reallocate window to manage staffing gaps more effectively. When choosing the Split to New Resource Request action, you can leave the New Resource column blank to create an unheld draft resource request or select a specific resource to create a held resource request. This allows for more dynamic planning by allowing you to generate requests without immediate fulfillment while maintaining the original assignment's or resource request's context.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Intelligent Resource Suggestions for Faster Reallocation
To accelerate the staffing process and reduce manual searching, the Reallocate window now pre-populates resource suggestions within the New Resource lookup dropdown. When modifying the Resource Request or an assignment linked to RR, the dropdown automatically surfaces the top 10 recommended resources, dynamically ranked based on criteria such as role, skills, availability, and region.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Flexible Staffing with Enhanced Held and Unheld Resource Requests
We have made several user interface enhancements to the Work Planner to support more dynamic resource request generation:
- The Split to New Held Resource Request action has been renamed to Split to New Resource Request in the Work Planner for Resource Requests.
- The Split to New Resource Request window now features dedicated sections, including a Split to New Resource Request section and a Resource for New Held Resource Request section, to separate your scheduling parameters from assignment details.
- When splitting an assignment or a held resource request, you can now create both held and unheld resource requests. To support this, a new Resource for New Held Resource Request section has been added to the Split to New Resource Request action, featuring Filter Resource by Role and Resource Name fields. Leaving the Resource Name field blank automatically generates an unheld draft resource request, while populating it creates a held resource request.
- Two new Lightning component properties have been added: Hide Held Resource Request Section when Splitting Assignment to Resource Request and Hide Held Resource Request Section when Splitting Resource Request. Use these properties to hide the Resource for New Held Resource Request section within the Split to New Resource Request window. Additionally, the Hide Split to New Held Resource Request Action on Resource Request property is renamed to Hide Split to New Resource Request Action on Resource Request.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Removal of the Region Field
To simplify the user interface and remove unnecessary clutter, the Region field has been removed and will no longer be visible during the following actions within the Work Planner:
- Swapping a resource
- Splitting to a new resource request
- Splitting to a new assignment
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Automated Top Match Recommendations for Resource Selection
The Resource Name field on the swap resource window now automatically displays a ranked list of top matches based on the custom settings and the staffing preferences defined on the Resource Request object. You can use the Filter Resource by Role field to further restrict the results to a specific role. This is also applicable for Split to New Resource Request and Clone Assignment action, provided that the assignment is associated with a resource request.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Maintain Cost Rate Consistency When Splitting the Assignment
We have added an enhancement to the Split to New Resource Request action to ensure cost settings remain consistent when splitting an assignment. The generated resource request now automatically inherits the associated Use Dated Resource Bill Rates and Use Dated Resource Cost Rates fields.
To maintain data integrity, the values are pulled based on the source:
-
If the assignment is already linked to a resource request, the fields data are populated automatically from the parent resource request.
-
If no resource request exists, the data is pulled from the assignment itself.
You can now also ensure that the Use Dated Resource Bill Rates and Use Dated Resource Cost Rates fields are automatically carried over when an assignment is split. When you use the Reallocate action to split an assignment to a new RR, the fields are automatically updated to the new resource request. This ensures your financial details stay synchronized and eliminates the need to manually re-enter the information.
For more information, see Using Work Planners.
Transition Seamlessly to Work Planner with Enhanced Usability
The following enhancements have been made to Work Planner in Summer 2026:
-
A right-click action has been added for rescheduling resource requests and assignments. The Reschedule right-click action opens a window where you can define a work pattern to apply to a particular date range. This work pattern overrides the working hours defined on the record's schedule. The Reschedule window also includes:
- A summary card at the top of the window showing the resource, the assignment's current scheduled hours, and the projected scheduled hours after applying your changes.
- A Scheduling Strategy drop-down that lets you choose between defining the pattern as daily hours (Custom) or as a single percentage that scales the resource's working hours across the date range using their work calendar (Percent Allocation).
- A Notes section, available when you reschedule an assignment, where you can record the reason for the change.
For more information, see Rescheduling Resource Requests and Assignments.
- You can now search the grid to the left of the splitter bar in both the Allocation and Scheduler views. Parent and child rows are both searched. If a child row matches the search term, its parent row remains in view but is not expanded automatically. For more information, see Search.
- The Information icon
now opens a modal with information about customizing the grid, and available right-click actions. A "More Info" link takes you to this Help topic: Work Planner Quick Reference -
The Filter button
has been moved next to the button that opens the Preferences panel. This was done for consistency with other components.
- Columns displaying the date range to the right of the splitter bar have been made more compact so that more of them can be displayed.
- When working in the Allocation view, you can hide the
icons by selecting the Hide Allocation Icons checkbox in the Preferences panel. Cell shading is then enabled automatically to indicate each resource's allocation status. - The format used to display column headings when using the Weeks zoom level has been standardized as mmm/dd in both the Allocation and Scheduler views.
- In the Allocation and Scheduler views, custom URL fields now display as hyperlinks that open in a new browser tab. To enable this feature, your administrator must add URL fields to the Resource Custom Column Field Set or Project Custom Column Field Set. For more information, see Setting up Work Planners.
- Saved filters that use a Quick Filter option, such as "Current Week" or "Next Month", now resolve the date range each time you apply them, rather than reusing the dates that were active when the filter was saved. For more information, see Saving Your Filters.
- For resources on more than 100 shortlists, you can view only the first 100. A warning icon
now identifies each affected resource on its row in both the Allocation and Scheduler views. For more information, see Viewing Shortlists. - In the Allocation view, the rows you expand now remain expanded when you reload or return to the Work Planner.
- You can now use the fill handle to edit the start and end dates of assignments and resource requests at all zoom levels, including Quarters and Years. For more information, see Copying Schedule Values.
The following enhancements are specific to Work Planner's Scheduler view:
- When grouping by resource, a resource's assignments and resource requests are summarized by a parent bar. Any gaps between the resource's assignments and resource requests are reflected by gaps in the parent bar. The resource's parent bar updates immediately to reflect changes to the dates and durations of its assignments and resource requests.
- When grouping by resource, bars are now shown for shortlist items. Their default color is purple. When Types of Work Colors are set up, they take the same colors as resource requests. Shortlist items are not included in a resource's parent bar because the resource is not committed to the work.
- You can now use drag-and-drop to reorder columns in the Scheduler view.
- Sorting behavior in the Scheduler view is now consistent with the Allocation view.
- Bars in the Scheduler view now use a lighter style for reduced visual weight. The default colors that distinguish summary bars, unheld resource requests, held resource requests, assignments, and shortlist items are unchanged.
- Working with large numbers of resources, work items, and schedules is now faster. The Scheduler view loads more quickly when you expand many rows, including rows with shortlist items, and it responds faster when you add, move, resize, or fill in work.
- You can now reassign work by dragging the bar for an assignment or held resource request from one resource and dropping it onto another parent resource bar. This action preserves the start date, end date, scheduled hours, and project, changing only the resource. For more information, see Reassigning Work by Dragging in the Scheduler View.
- You can now select multiple assignments and unassign them at once, just as you can in the Allocation view. This multi-select mass action is available when grouping by resource, project, or opportunity. If you cannot unassign a record, the system displays an error on the affected row so that you can resolve it. For more information, see Unassigning Resources from Assignments.
Optimize Workflow with the Opportunity Work Planner
We've made several enhancements to bring opportunity-level data directly into your Work Planner. Using the new Resources tab on the opportunity record page, you can now manage staffing demand from the moment it's identified, without switching between the Opportunity record and a separate Work Planner.
The following capabilities are now available to help you organize your workflow from the work planner:
- Group your view by "Opportunity" to see all the resource requests associated with an opportunity, and check the No Opportunity section to view assignments and resource requests that don't have an opportunity listed.
- View the opportunity details of the selected records in the new Opportunity tab on the Record Details panel.
- Display only the required fields in the Opportunity details panel using a field set.
- Use the new Filter by Opportunity section in the filter panel to filter by any opportunity field, displaying only directly associated resource requests in the work planner. The Opportunity field is removed from the Filter by Resource Request section and added to the new Filter by Opportunity section. If any existing saved filters or filter panels include an Opportunity value under Filter by Resource Request, that value is automatically moved to the default Opportunity field in the new Filter by Opportunity section, preserving the original data.
For more information, see Using Work Planners, Work Planner Lightning Component Properties, and Viewing Opportunity Record Work Planner.
Adopt Resource Search Fields for Custom Filters
The following enhancements have been made to aid the adoption of resource search fields for custom filters.
Map Resource Request and Contact Fields on the Configure Resource Search Fields Page
You can now create mappings between resource request fields and contact fields when you create resource search fields on the Configure Resource Search Fields page.
Each resource search field references one contact field for use when filtering for resources. By mapping a resource request field of the same type to the contact field, the resource search filter field is pre-populated with the value from the resource request, and resources can be filtered out if they do not match the value.
For example, you might have a picklist on the Resource Request object that indicates the required work location. Similarly you might have a picklist on the Contact object that indicates the person's preferred work location. The values in both picklists might be "Work from Home", "Head Office", "Customer Site", "Any". By mapping the Resource Request picklist to the Contact picklist, the system automatically populates the resource search filter field with the requested value and filters out contacts that do not match.
You can also map a resource search field to a field on a record related to the resource request by following one or more lookup fields. For example, you can follow the Project lookup on the resource request and use the Industry field on the linked account as the source. This configuration prioritizes resources with matching industry experience in the search.
Visual Indicator of Which Resource Search Fields a Resource Matches
When using the Resourcing tab on a resource request, green checkmarks display in the grid and on the Resource Details panel for any resource search fields that the resource matches. Similarly when using Resource Request Staffer, green checkmarks display in the Match Results tab.
Use Simple Staffing to Choose a Resource and Have It Validated for Suitability and Availability
Resource Request Staffer is designed to help you staff resource requests in bulk by letting the resource matching process find a suitable match for multiple selected resource requests. If you already know the resource you want to match to a resource request, you can now choose them manually instead of leaving the matching process to do it for you.
To do this, the Enable Simple Staffing property must be selected for the Resource Request Staffer component. The Chosen Resource column is then added to the Open Resource Requests grid on the Open Requests tab, and you can choose the resource you want to match to a resource request. When you select a resource in the Chosen Resource column, the associated resource request is automatically selected in the Open Resource Requests grid. The chosen resource will not be overridden by the matching process, and will not be matched to any other selected resource requests.
On the Match Results tab, you can review the chosen resource's suitability and availability before deciding whether to shortlist, hold, or assign the resource. For more information, see Matching Resources in Resource Request Staffer.
Self-Assign from the Services Delivery Workspace
We have introduced a Create Assignment card in the Services Delivery workspace, providing a dedicated entry point for self-assignment within Lightning Experience. Previously, you could only access self-assignment on the Project record page or from the Schedules section of the Time Entry page. Now, you can create self-assignments in the Services Delivery Workspace.
Your administrator can configure the Create Assignment to the Services Delivery workspace Lightning record page.
For more information, see:
Manage Schedule Conflicts
You can now keep a Monthly Over Allocation dataset synchronized with Analytics alongside the Monthly Availability dataset. Monthly over allocation data identifies where a resource's scheduled work exceeds their available hours, helping you identify and manage scheduling conflicts. When you select the Enable Over Allocation Dataset field in Utilization Settings, and when you have completed the prerequisite setup steps, this enables PSA to build and maintain the dataset.
For more information, see Managing the Monthly Availability Dataset.
Generate Preferred Schedules for Task-Based Unheld Resource Requests
When you create an unheld resource request from a project task, you can now generate a preferred schedule for it. Previously, a preferred schedule was generated only for held resource requests and assignments. This enhancement enables you to carry task-based scheduling requirements throughout the staffing process. To generate the schedule, select a work calendar in the new Work Calendar column, and click Create with Schedule. For more information, see Creating Resource Requests from Project Tasks.
You can automatically keep these schedules up to date. When related project tasks or project task assignments change, the preferred schedule is recalculated for any unheld resource request that already has one. By default, this feature is enabled and can be controlled with a new Schedule configuration option. For more information, see Schedule Settings.
Retirement of the Legacy Mass Resource Replacement Page
We've retired the Mass Resource Replacement Visualforce page, and it will be deactivated in a future release. We'll continue to support this page until deactivation, but recommend that you use the Swap Resources Lightning component.
For more information, see Deprecated Elements.
Deactivation of the Project Team Schedule and Team Schedule Planner
We've removed the Project Team Schedule, which was deactivated in Summer 2025. We recommend that you use the Record Work Planner on the project record page instead.
We've also deactivated the Team Schedule Planner and it can't be used anymore. We no longer support this feature and it'll be removed in a future release. This feature will not be replaced with an alternative. The retirement of these features was announced in Spring 2025.
As part of these changes, we've also retired the permission sets, custom setting fields, and object that supported these features. They will be removed in a future release.
For more information about the deprecated and retired features in PSA, see Deprecated Elements.
Streamline Resource Management with Enhanced Grid Controls

Configure Columns in the Assignment Details Grid
Previously, administrators had limited control over the visibility of columns in the Assignment Details grid within the Assign Multiple Resources to Project window. This update introduces the ability to configure several additional columns, allowing the grid to be tailored more effectively to specific resourcing workflows.
The following columns can now be managed via Assignment Settings custom settings, all of which are displayed by default:
- Cost Rate
- Day of Week
- Percent Allocation
- Planned Hours
- Scheduled Hours
- Use Resource Default Cost Rate
Administrators can use the Assign Multiple Resources Field Set custom setting in Assignment Settings to determine which custom fields appear as columns in the grid.
This enhancement shows only relevant fields in the Assignment Details grid, improving usability and simplifying field entry.
For more information, see:
Configure Self-Nomination Fields to Streamline Resource Request Creation
We have enhanced the Create Resource Requests action on the Opportunity and Project record pages. You can now add the Allow Candidates to Self-Nominate, Self-Nomination Deadline, and Information for Prospective Candidates fields to the field sets that the Create Resource Requests action uses.
Administrators can add these fields to the following field sets on the Resource Request object:
- CreateRRFromOppFieldSet
- CreateRRFromProjFieldSet
This allows you to configure self-nomination directly during creation, removing the forced two-step process of saving and subsequently editing the record.
For more information, see:
- Setting up the Work Opportunities Hub
- Work Opportunities Hub Overview

Automate Assignment and Resource Search Tasks with Invocable Actions
You can now use invocable actions to automate assignment and resource search tasks using Salesforce Flow Builder:
- CreateAssignmentAndAssignResourceAction
- FindAssignmentsForResourceAction
- SplitAssignmentToAssignmentAction
- SplitAssignmentToResourceRequestAction
- SwapResourceOnAssignmentAction
- SearchResourcesForRecordAction
For more information, see:
Manage Data Volume by Deleting Obsolete Resource Utilization Records
When you click the Delete Utilization Results link under the Utilization section on the PSA Administration page, a two-step wizard opens to guide you through the process. In the first step, you choose whether to remove records by a specific date range or by individual utilization runs. If you select the utilization runs option, the second step displays a targeted data grid where you can verify and select specific rows before completing the deletion.
It also includes a search field for real-time filtering and column-sorting capabilities. Additionally, a Show Selected toggle view helps you review your final choices before execution.
For more information, see PSA Administration.
Enhance Work Planner and Resourcing Grid
You can now select multiple records in the Scheduler view and assign, reallocate, and unhold them in bulk. Previously, you had to switch to the Allocation view to assign, reallocate, or unhold multiple records at once. Now, the right-click context menu in the Scheduler view matches the Allocation view, including Scroll to Start Date and Scroll to End Date options.
The Scheduler view now also includes a Show Selected(N) control so you can filter to just your selected records, as in the Allocation view.
This enhancement helps you maintain consistency between the Allocation and Scheduler views without switching views.
For more information, see:
Match Quality for Resourcing Component
We have added the Match Quality property in the Resourcing component for the Compare Resources window. Your administrator can set up custom fields for the Resource Request Lightning page.
For more information, see:
Exclude Fields from Split and Clone Actions in Work Planner
We have enhanced the Split and Clone actions in Work Planner to allow for more precise data duplication. Previously, these actions copied all fields from the source assignments and resource request, which often required manual cleanup of unwanted data. You can now define specific fields to include during the cloning or splitting process to ensure data integrity and streamline the creation of new records.
This enhancement reduces the manual effort and preserves data integrity by ensuring that only relevant data is carried over to the new record.
Administrators can define the fields that must not be populated in the new record by adding them to the Clone or Split Exclusion Fields field set on the Assignment and Resource Request objects.
For more information, see:
Update Your Skills with Automated Skill Rating Suggestions
When managing your skills from the Manage Skills and Certifications window, skill ratings that might need updating are flagged. These flags depend on the evaluation date of the ratings and the thresholds defined by your administrator. Additionally, the Skills and Certifications tabs now include a drop-down list to group skills and certifications by evaluation date, experience, rating, and type. These enhancements help you keep your skills and certifications accurate and up-to-date.
For more information, see Skill Rating Suggestions for Resources Overview and Manage Skills and Certifications Fields.
Leverage AI to Extract Skills and Certifications from Custom Text and Documents
From the Manage Skills and Certifications window, you can now add skills and certifications for your or another user that are extracted from a list of skills and certifications that you provide. In this list, skills and certifications must be separated by commas, semicolons, or new lines. Potential skills and certifications are identified and matched to existing skills and certifications in your org.
This feature uses AI when the AI Core package is installed in your org. If installed, the feature can also extract potential skills and certifications from text, such as a CV or job description, or a PDF or TXT document that you provide. It can also match skill and certification terms even if they do not fully match existing skill and certification names.
For more information, see Skill and Certification Extraction Overview and Adding Extracted Skills and Certifications.
Discover and Manage Skills and Certifications
We have introduced a Browse button to the skill selection area across PSA while creating and managing resource requests. Previously, you could only add skills and certifications if you knew their exact names. Now, you can select Browse to open the Select Skills and Certifications window and discover skills and certifications by browsing through available records. Additionally, the number of skills and certifications within each skill set is now displayed below the category name in the Skills section. The Select Skills and Certifications window displays all available skills regardless of Skill Zone or role-based restrictions.
Administrators can configure the Default Select Skills View and Select Skills Column Field Set Lightning component properties in the following pages:
- Opportunity record page
- Project page
- Resource Request page
- Skill or Certification Zones record page
- Skills Management page
- Work Planner app page
This enhancement helps you to search active skills, certifications, and skill sets in a single window.

Manage Skills and Certifications More Efficiently with the New Skills and Certifications Hierarchy Page
You can now view and manage skills and certification in the hierarchy using the new Skills and Certifications Hierarchy page. On this page, all existing categories, skills, and certifications in your org display, giving you a complete view of the data.
For clarity, records display in alphabetical order. Categories display first, and subcategories and child skills and certifications nest within the categories. You can expand or collapse categories, enabling you to navigate the hierarchy. Skills and certifications without a category display after categories in alphabetical order.
On the Skills and Certifications Hierarchy page, you can create skills, certifications, and categories, and edit existing records.
For more information, see Skills and Certifications Hierarchy Overview.
Simplified Skills and Certifications Navigation
You can now access your skills and certifications pages directly from the Skills and Certifications workspace. This centralized hub enables you to manage skills and certifications for resources. Previously, you accessed these pages from separate tabs and links. Consolidating them into a single workspace significantly reduces navigation time and streamlines your workflow.
The workspace includes a Quick Links area with four shortcuts to your most frequently used skills and certifications pages. It also includes Key Metrics and Skills Hierarchy areas to establish the structure for insights and tools that will become available in future releases.
Administrators can customize the workspace and rearrange its areas to match how your team works.
This enhancement increases efficiency by providing a unified, streamlined experience for managing your resources.
For more information, see:
- Skills and Certifications Workspace Overview

Standardized Skills and Certifications Terminology
We have renamed the Skills Management app page to the Mass Manage Resource Skills app page. You can now consistently use Skills and Certifications terminology across pages and views.
For more information, see:
Retirement of the Skills Matrix Visualforce Page
We've deactivated the Skills Matrix Visualforce page and it can't be used anymore. We no longer support this page and it'll be removed in a future release. To manage skills and certifications for resources, work with your administrator to start using the Skills and Certifications Workspace.
For more information, see Skills and Certifications Workspace Overview.
For more information about the deprecated elements, see Deprecated Elements.
Manage Skills and Skill Sets to Streamline Workflow
Deactivate skills, certifications, and skill sets that are no longer relevant without deleting them, using a new Inactive status. Inactive skills, certifications, and skill sets are automatically excluded from search and selection across PSA, with optional filters, and automation actions for managing status at scale.
Mark Skills, Certifications, and Skill Sets as Inactive
You can now mark skills as inactive in the Skill or Certification and Skill Set record pages using the Inactive checkbox. By default, all skills, certifications, categories, and skill sets are active upon creation. An Inactive column is now available on the relevant list views so you can filter and review the status.
The search experience now ensures that only active records are available for selection in the following pages:
- Skill or Certification Zones record page
- Contact record page
- Manage Skills and Certifications tab in PSA Mobile Application
- Opportunity record page
- Project record page
- Resource Request Lightning page
- Services Delivery workspace page
- Work Planner app page
In the PSA Mobile Application, inactive skills and certifications no longer appear in the search results of the Manage Skills and Certifications tab.
For more information, see:
- Skills Management Overview
- Skill Sets Overview
- Skill or Certification Fields

Exclude Inactive Skills and Certifications
We have introduced filters to exclude inactive skills and certifications in the PSA Mass Manage Skills and Certifications in the Skills Management app page and in the PSA Manage Skills and Certifications window in the Services Delivery workspace. You can apply the filters to display only active skills and certifications.
Your administrator can configure the Hide Inactive Skills and Certifications filter in the Skills Management Global Settings in the custom settings.
For more information, see:
- Mass Managing Skills and Certifications for Resources
- Manage Skills and Certifications Fields

Automate Skill and Skill Set Status Updates Using Invocable Actions
You can now mark skills, certifications, categories, and skill sets as active or inactive through automation, in addition to the existing manual process on the record page. Four custom actions are available for use in Salesforce Flow Builder and other automation tools:
- Mark Skill Active
- Mark Skill Inactive
- Mark Skill Set Active
- Mark Skill Set Inactive
Each action accepts a list of record IDs and updates the Inactive checkbox on the matching Skill or Certification or Skill Set records. The actions apply the same validations and field updates as the manual process on the record page, so automated and manual changes behave identically. You can use these actions in screen flows, record-triggered flows, and scheduled automation to deactivate or reactivate skills and skill sets in bulk, such as when a service line is discontinued.
Each invocation supports up to 2,000 records and returns a result for each record, indicating success or the reason for failure. Marking a skill set as inactive does not change the active status of its member skills.

Add RAID Records Directly in the RAID Tracker to Increase Efficiency
We've added the
button to the RAID Tracker toolbar on the project record page, Project Management Workspace, and Experience Cloud Sites to streamline record creation for project managers. In the RAID view, this button opens a dropdown menu to add any RAID record type. When working in a specific RAID view, the button defaults to adding that specific record type, ensuring quick and accurate RAID record creation without leaving the tracker.
For more information, see Using the RAID Tracker and RAID Tracker Lightning Component Fields.
Edit and Save RAID Items Directly in the Combined RAID View
We've made the following enhancements to the RAID Tracker:
- Modified the RAID view to support direct inline editing, eliminating the need to open individual views to edit records. This improves productivity by enabling project managers to update multiple data points quickly while maintaining data integrity by locking the RAID Type and Reference Number fields.
- Added an auto-calculation feature on the RAID view that updates the severity level instantly when impact, likelihood, or priority fields are modified as per the RAID record. This provides project managers with real-time insights and ensures the RAID Tracker reflects accurate data without manual intervention.
- Introduced a Save button in the toolbar of the RAID view and you can see any unsaved changes to prevent data loss while switching views. This enables project managers to commit all grid modifications at once and receive clear confirmation, streamlining the data entry process.
For more information, see RAID Tracker Overview and Using the RAID Tracker.
Manage Project Task Comments in the Gantt on a Project Record and Project Task Board
We've enhanced the Gantt on a Project Record and Project Task Board to provide a centralized way to view and manage comments directly on your project task records. These Lightning components are available on the project record page, in the Project Management Workspace, and in Digital Experience Sites. Using the dedicated Comments panel, you can easily collaborate and track task-specific conversations without ever leaving your active workspace.
To implement this feature, we've made the following changes:
- Added
to the toolbar. Click it to open the Comments panel, where you can view full conversation threads, commenter details, and timestamps for a selected task. - Enabled you to post new comments directly within the workspace to share context and collaborate with your team.
- Enabled you to edit or delete your saved comments, keeping task information accurate and up to date.
- Introduced a new Comment custom object and updated the PSA - Manage Gantt and Project Tasks and PSA - Manage Project Tasks permission sets to grant the required Read and Edit access.
For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record,Using the Project Task Board, Project Task Board Lightning Component Fields, and Project Gantt Lightning Component Fields.
Viewing Start and End Times for Project Tasks in Gantt on a Project Record
We have updated the Start Date and End Date columns in Gantt on a project record. These columns are now Start Date & Time and End Date & Time, and display the start and end times alongside dates according to your Salesforce locale. This enhancement enables you to plan your project tasks based on exact hours, improving the accuracy of project task management in Gantt on a project record.
These fields are not included by default and are available to be added to a custom column field set.
For more information, see Project Gantt Lightning Component Fields and Project Gantt Lightning Component Fields
Calculate Formula Fields Live in Gantt on a Project Record
Cost and Hours formula fields on project tasks now recalculate live as you edit related fields in the Gantt on a project record. The change applies to formula fields on the Project Task object, including any custom formula fields, and to tasks you have added but not yet saved. Date formula fields are the exception: they are not recalculated live and remain read-only. For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
The Estimated Cost of each resource assignment now updates live in the Manage Resources window as you change resource allocations, and rolls up to the project task and its parent tasks in Gantt on a project record, so you can see the cost impact of your planning before you save. For more information, see Managing Resources Assigned to a Project Task.
Resuming Your Project Plan with Remembered Expand and Collapse Settings in Gantt on a Project Record
Gantt on a project record now remembers which parent project tasks you collapsed in the grid. When you return to the same project record, the project task hierarchy is restored to the view you left. This speeds up project task management by enabling you to resume work on long project plans without having to collapse parent tasks again.
The collapsed or expanded status of parent project tasks is stored in the local storage of your browser.
For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
Manage Project To-Dos Directly in Experience Cloud
Project managers and team members can now view and manage the actions linked to a project directly on Experience Cloud Sites, using the PSA Project To-Dos component. The component organizes actions into Open and Completed sections, so users can create, edit, complete, reopen, and delete project actions without leaving the site. You can also control which fields appear when creating or editing an action using the new Action Fields Field Set property.
For more information, see Actions Overview and PSA Project To-Do List and PSA Project To-Dos Lightning Component Properties.
Achieve Classic Gantt Editing and Scheduling Parity in Gantt on a Project Record
We've enhanced Gantt on a project record to bring it closer to Classic Gantt for everyday project planning.
When you change a project's start date on the project record, you can now move all of its project task dates automatically by the same number of days, keeping your schedule aligned without editing each task individually. To turn this on for a project, select the new Adjust Tasks When Start Date Changes field. For more information, see Adjusting Tasks When a Project's Start Date Changes.
You can now edit the Percent Complete (Tasks) field directly in the task grid in Gantt on a project record, and a parent task is marked as completed automatically when all of its child tasks are completed. For more information, see Editing Project Tasks.
You can now set your own preferences for Gantt on a project record from a new Preferences panel, opened from the toolbar. The first preference, Reload on Save, reloads the Gantt automatically after you save so that you immediately see the effect of your changes. For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
You can now copy a cell's value to other task rows in Gantt on a project record by dragging the fill handle in the bottom-right corner of a selected cell up or down the task grid. This includes assigned resources, so you can quickly apply the same values across many tasks without editing each row. For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
You can now review a resource assignment's key details without leaving the Manage Resources window. Select an assignment and open the Record Details panel to see a new Assignment tab that shows the assignment's status and milestone, its start and end dates, and its planned, scheduled, and remaining hours. For more information, see Managing Resources Assigned to a Project Task.
Work in the Project Time Zone in Gantt on a Project Record
Gantt on a project record now works in the project's time zone, so everyone planning the project sees the same task dates and times regardless of where they are based. When a project has a time zone set, Gantt displays, saves, and exports task dates and times in that time zone. When no project time zone is set, it uses your Salesforce user time zone.
The toolbar shows which time zone is in use, and the record details panel tells you when the project's time zone differs from your own, so you always know how the dates and times you see relate to your location. For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
Configure Gantt on a Project Record with Global Settings
The Manage Resources window and the Assign Resources window in Gantt on a project record now respect three Gantt Global Settings, so you can apply consistent resource management rules across your organization. Use Suppress Auto Link Assignment to control whether a new or changed project task assignment is automatically linked to a resource's single matching assignment, use Show Equal Split Button to control whether the Equal Split allocation mode is available, and use Show Percent Allocation to control whether the Percentage allocation mode is available. For more information, see Configuring Gantt Custom Settings.
Gantt on a project record now saves your changes in batches, so projects with large numbers of project tasks and assignments save reliably. The batch sizes are controlled by the Save Project Task Batch Size and Save Project Task Assignment Batch Size Gantt Global Settings. If part of a save cannot be completed, the changes that already saved are kept, so you can save again to complete the rest. For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record.
Start and Complete Project Tasks Using AI Agents and Flows
AI agents and automations can now mark project tasks as started or completed directly through Agentforce, Salesforce flows, or REST integrations. This ensures project task statuses remain current without having to navigate to Gantt on a project record. For more information, see Apex Actions for AI Agents.
Reschedule Tasks and Dependencies in Gantt on a Project Record
Dependencies now drive project task dates forwards and backwards in Gantt on a project record. Previously, project tasks could move later but never earlier, so a dependency recorded your intent without always determining when a task was scheduled. Now a dependency takes effect as soon as you create it, and project tasks move in both directions. If you add a Finish to Start dependency between two tasks that are a week apart, the successor task moves to start when its predecessor finishes. If a predecessor task finishes earlier, is shortened, or is deleted, its successor tasks move earlier to take up the time, so a plan can recover as well as slip.
Negative lag now overlaps a successor task with its predecessor. You can set lag either by entering a value in the grid or by dragging a task on the chart, and both produce the same result: dragging a successor task three days later and entering a lag of three days both set the lag to three days. This means you can overlap two tasks by dragging the successor task earlier, without manually entering a negative value.
You can also reschedule all of the tasks beneath a parent task in one action. Move a parent task by dragging it on the chart or by editing the Start Date & Time column in the grid, and every task beneath it is rescheduled and keeps its duration, so you can reschedule a phase that has slipped without editing each task individually. A single undo reverts the whole change. Each task lands on working time according to its own work calendar, and durations are unchanged.
A gap between two tasks is kept only if a dependency sets it. If tasks are simply spaced apart on the chart, with no dependency between them, they start as early as they can when the plan is rescheduled, so the gap closes. To keep a gap, create a dependency between the two tasks and set its lag to the length of the gap.
For more information, see Managing Project Tasks from Gantt on a Project Record and Managing Dependencies Between Project Tasks.
Enhanced Advanced Lookups on Mobile for Faster Data Entry
Administrators can now configure which fields appear in advanced search lookup results on mobile devices. Mobile Advanced Search Configurations on the PSA Administration page let you define a separate set of fields for mobile, independent of the desktop configuration. If no mobile configuration exists for an object, the lookup defaults to the desktop configuration.
The Advanced Lookup on mobile devices now opens in a full-screen view, replacing the previous pop-up window. This makes it easier for you to find and select records from Advanced Search results when entering time and expenses on a smaller screen.
The Advanced Search result cards on mobile now display an initial summary of fields, which you can expand to reveal all configured field details for each record. Results load in batches as you scroll through the list, improving performance when searching on mobile devices.
For more information, see Using Advanced Lookup and PSA Administration.
Enhanced Task Time Entry in Timesheet Entry
We have enhanced the visibility of tasks when adding tasks to your timecard in Timesheet Entry using the Add Tasks window. Timesheet Entry now supports the following custom setting fields in the Timecard Entry Personal UI Settings custom setting:
- Hide Show All Tasks/My Tasks
- Restrict Task Based On Assignment
- Restrict Task Based On Milestone
- Task Time: Only Show Assigned Tasks
When enabled, these custom setting fields ensure only tasks assigned to users are displayed in the Add Tasks window in Timesheet Entry, by hiding or restricting the Show All Tasks and Show My Tasks options in the filter panel. This enhancement improves the accuracy of the information entered on timecards, by ensuring users can not see or select tasks outside of their own assigned tasks, therefore reducing the risk of inaccurate timecards and improving data integrity.
We have also added Create from Tasks as a new option in the Timesheet Entry toolbar plus-menu. Selecting it opens a search window where you can find project tasks that are open for time entry, linked to one of your valid assignments for the week, and search across the configured columns. Confirming your selection adds new timecards at the bottom of your timesheet, one for each related assignment, with the selected project tasks grouped underneath. This enables you to find and add several project tasks to your timesheet in one action, even when they belong to different assignments.
If a project task is linked to more than one of your assignments, it does not appear in the search results to avoid ambiguity. Your administrator can configure which columns are displayed in the search window.
We have also extended Create from Tasks to include global project tasks. The search window now lists project tasks from global projects that are in your region, practice, or group hierarchy and have the Allow Timecards Without Assignment field enabled, alongside tasks linked to your assignments. When you select a global project task that resolves to one of your assignments, the timecard is created for that project and assignment; when the task has no assignment, the timecard is created against the global project only. The default columns in the search window now lead with Parent Task to give you additional context.
We have also redesigned the empty state of the Timesheet Entry grid. When you open Timesheet Entry for a week that contains no timecards, a single primary action button now appears, along with an overflow menu listing the remaining enabled timecard creation methods. Administrators can choose which method appears as the primary action by configuring a property on the Timesheet Entry component in Lightning App Builder.
You can now show additional fields in the Task Time Notes window when entering time against project tasks. A new Task Time Details section at the top of the window displays the fields your administrator configures in the Task Time editable and read-only field sets, so you can capture richer task-level information, such as location or compliance details, without leaving Timesheet Entry.
For more information, see Time Entry Settings, Setting Up Timesheet Entry, Using Timesheet Entry, Timesheet Entry Fields and Buttons, and Timesheet Entry Properties.
Streamline Time Management with Enhanced Timesheet Customization and Context
We have made enhancements to the way the Billable column displays information, when it is added to Timesheet Entry. When copying timecards from a previous week, the Billable column now copies the status directly from the previous timecard. These enhancements reduce manual effort and prevent errors from occurring when completing timecards, improving the speed and accuracy of timecards.
You can also now configure the Work column in Timesheet Entry to display the following:
- Assignment numbers
- Project names
- A custom account field
When resources have similar assignment names across projects, displaying the above information provides at-a-glance confirmation of the assignment or project time is being recorded for. For more information, see Timesheet Entry Overview.
Utilize Advanced Searching on Timecard Fields
We have expanded the record search ability in Timesheet Entry through advanced search. This enables you to view additional information when selecting a record from all lookup fields in the Timesheet Entry grid.
Advanced search saves the need to scroll through numerous records in the lookup drop-down, speeding up the time entry experience and making it easier to select the exact record required.
This enhancement has also been implemented in all similar grids across PSA. For example, you can now use advanced search on lookup fields in grids such as Gantt on a project record and the Delivery Tracker.
For more information, see Using Advanced Lookup and Using Timesheet Entry.
Enhance Time Management with Timesheet Entry
We have added Delete and Recall as quick actions on each timecard row in Timesheet Entry. You can now correct a single line directly from the row instead of selecting it first and using the toolbar. This enables you to fix mistakes more quickly when entering or reviewing time.
The new actions are available from the action arrow at the end of each row, and from the right-click menu when you right-click a cell in the Work column. Delete appears only on timecards and project tasks that have not been submitted. Recall appears only on timecards with the Submitted status.
We have also improved the Copy from Previous Weeks window. Timecards and field values that are no longer valid for the selected week are now excluded automatically, so you no longer have to delete or correct timecards after copying. For example, fields such as assignments and projects that have ended or are closed for time entry are excluded. Milestones and project locations that have ended or closed for time entry remain blank. Project tasks that have ended or are closed for time entry are also excluded from the copied timecard. This enhancement speeds up the time entry process and provides greater data accuracy.
You can now set the height of the Timesheet Entry grid using the new Grid Height (px) component property in Lightning App Builder. This enables you to fit the grid to your page layout.
You can now duplicate a timecard line to reuse its work context. Select Duplicate Work from the action arrow at the end of a row, or from the right-click menu on a cell in the Work column, and a new timecard line is added at the bottom of your timesheet in an unsaved state with the same work context copied. This saves you re-selecting the project, assignment, and other details when entering time for similar work.
For more information, see Editing, Deleting, and Recalling Timecards in Timesheet Entry, Timesheet Entry Fields and Buttons, Timesheet Entry Properties, and Timesheet Entry Overview.
Improve Timecard Compliance with Timesheet Entry
Holidays in the Timesheet Entry grid are now indicated by
to the left of the hours cells. The icon stays visible while you are editing a row.
Required fields are now enforced in Timesheet Entry. When an editable field is required, a required asterisk is displayed on that field in the grid column header and in the Timecard Notes, Task Time Notes, and Easy Entry notes windows. You cannot save a timecard until all of its required editable fields are completed, helping to keep your timecards accurate and compliant. Read-only fields and submitted timecards do not show the asterisk.
For more information, see Timesheet Entry Overview and Using Timesheet Entry.
Suggest, Save, and Submit Timecards Using AI Agents
AI agents can now suggest, save, and submit timecards on a resource's behalf through natural-language conversation, so resources can manage their time entry without opening PSA. For more information, see Apex Actions for AI Agents.
Retirement of Billing Forecasting
We're retiring Billing Forecasting and it'll be deactivated in a future release, no sooner than Summer 2027. We'll continue to support Billing Forecasting, but recommend that you start using Services Forecasting as your forecasting solution instead. Contact your administrator to start using Services Forecasting.
For more information about Services Forecasting, see Generate Services Forecasts. For more information about the deprecated elements, see Deprecated Elements.
Track Project Direct Costs More Efficiently
We've introduced the new Project Cost object, which provides a dedicated way to capture non-resource direct costs against a project. This enables project managers to record project-related costs originating outside PSA that are unrelated to internal labor or expenses, such as hardware, software, and third-party labor. Previously, you were only able to record these costs using miscellaneous adjustments. This associated them with a single point in time, which made it difficult to categorize costs, align them with a project timeline, or track them accurately in cost forecasts.
You can view and manage project costs from the new Project Costs tab. You can also create project costs directly from a project record using the New Project Cost action available from the Project Financials section of the Actions tab. You can classify these costs by category and subcategory, and also capture any required delivery and vendor details.
Project costs associated with a project are automatically included in cost forecasts in Services Forecasting if they fall within the project's start and end dates, and use either the deliverable or equal split recognition method. For more information about the impact of these changes in Services Forecasting, see New Features and Enhancements in Services Forecasting Summer 2026.
These enhancements help you manage project profitability and ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
For more information, see Project Costs Overview and Creating Project Costs.
Manage Dated Resource Cost Rates
We've made a number of enhancements to support the use of dated resource cost rates, and to ensure all cost rate-based calculations are correct when dated cost rates are used. For more information about dated resource cost rates, see Dated Resource Rates Overview and Understanding Where Dated Resource Rates Are Used in Professional Services Cloud.
Updates to Time Entry
We've added the allow-recalculation-after-approval configuration option to the Timecard configuration group, which enables the generation and release of billing events without system errors related to the updating of system-calculated fields blocking progress. This ensures a smooth billing cycle and sales invoicing process.
For more information, see Time Entry Settings.
Updates to Resource Requests
To align dated cost rate information with the existing dated bill rate information on resource requests, we've added the following new fields to the Resource Request object:
- Cost Rate Currency Code
- Projected Average Cost Rate
- Projected Cost Amount
The new fields provide resource managers with all the information required for successful reporting.
To further support this, we've introduced the new UpdateResReqCostAmountCallable, which automatically updates the Projected Cost Amount on resource requests when dated resource rates are used.
We've also added the Dated Average Bill Rate and Dated Projected Average Cost Rate fields to resource requests, which now populate the Average Bill Rate and Projected Average Cost Rate fields on resource requests when dated bill and cost rates are used.
For more information, see:
- Calculating a Resource Request's Projected Cost Amount When Dated Rates Are Used
- Resource Request Fields
- PSA Asynchronous Callables
- Resource Request Settings
Updates to Custom Settings and Asynchronous Callables
For consistency between dated bill rates and dated cost rates, and to support the asynchronous calculation of financial information on assignments and resource requests, we've introduced new custom setting fields. The Assignment Settings custom setting now includes the following fields:
- Update Costs from DRR: Job Size
- Update Dated Revenue: Sync Limit
The Resource Request Settings custom setting now includes the following fields:
- Update Costs from DRR: Job Size
- Update Dated Billable Amount: Sync Limit
- Update Dated Costs: Job Size
- Update Dated Costs: Sync Limit
We've also updated the names and descriptions of a number of existing custom setting fields in the Assignment Settings and Resource Request Settings custom settings.
To further support this, we've introduced the following asynchronous callables related to the updating of resource requests to reflect changes to dated resource cost rates:
- RRCostDrrChangeCallable
- SyncResReqCostWithDrrChangesCallable
For more information, see:
Updates to Automatic Rate Card Matching
You can now determine which rate card types the rate card matcher automatically runs for by selecting the Use Dated Resource Bill Rate and Use Dated Resource Cost Rate checkboxes on a resource request or assignment. This prevents the process from running on rate cards that have no relevant changes, making the process faster and more efficient.
For more information, see Rate Card Matching When Using Dated Resource Rates.
Enhance Recalculate Actuals in PSA Actuals
If you need to recalculate financial metrics for Region, Practice or Groups, you no longer have to run a full, time-consuming system recalculation. A new consolidated Actuals Recalculation Lightning page that allows you to target your updates precisely.
You can use this Lightning page to achieve the following results:
- Select multiple regions, practices, projects, resources, or groups for a targeted recalculation.
- Prevent custom triggers on your project records from firing repeatedly during the update process.
Your administrator can add the Actuals Recalculation Lightning page to your layout to make it available.
We have also deprecated the existing Project Actuals Recalculation and Resource Actuals Recalculation Lightning pages.
For more information, see:
- Recalculating Actuals
- PSA Administration

Streamline the Process to Add Services Deliverables to Projects with Custom Fields and New Cards
We have introduced the following enhancements to the process of adding services deliverables to projects:
Customize Displayed Fields in the Add Services Deliverables Table
Administrators can now use field sets on the Services Deliverable object to add additional columns to the table in the Add Services Deliverables window. This can be configured independently for deliverables with services credits pricing and monetary pricing through the following new fields on the Services Deliverables Settings custom setting:
- Add Deliverables Window Fields - Credits
- Add Deliverables Window Fields - Money
This flexibility enables administrators to customize the user interface to specific business needs, ensuring users only see the fields that matter most to them.
For more information, see Services Deliverables Settings and Adding Additional Columns to the Table in the Add Services Deliverables Window.
View Key Project Details and Totals in Cards
You can now gain instant visibility into key project details and deliverable totals when adding deliverables to projects. This is possible thanks to the following new cards we've added to the Add Services Deliverables window:
- Project: Displays the name of the project the deliverables are being added to.
- Total Price: Displays a running total of the prices assigned to the selected deliverables. This card only displays when adding deliverables with monetary pricing.
- Total Credits: Displays a running total of the services credits assigned to the selected deliverables. This card only displays when adding deliverables with services credits pricing.
These cards improve your experience by providing key project and financial data. Having these totals clearly visible when adding deliverables to projects gives you an immediate understanding of the total price or services credits required for the project.
For more information, see Adding Services Deliverables to Projects.
Manage Services Deliverable Items More Efficiently with the New Services Deliverable Items Grid
The Deliverable Items subtab on services deliverable record pages now displays related deliverable items in the new Services Deliverable Items grid. This grid enables you to create, edit, and delete items for a specific deliverable from a single view. You can now modify the Price Allocation (%), Services Credits, and Active fields for all the items in the deliverable, and then save all your updates in one go.
Additionally, administrators can customize the grid to display additional read-only columns using a field set, helping you tailor the information displayed to match your specific business needs.
This update streamlines your workflow by making it easy to manage and maintain all items within a deliverable directly from the grid, eliminating the need to open and update each deliverable item individually.
For more information, see:
- Managing and Maintaining Services Deliverables and Deliverable Items
- Adding Additional Columns to the Services Deliverable Items Grid
Automatically Add Services Deliverables When Creating Projects from Opportunities
You can now associate services deliverables with Salesforce products so that those services deliverables are automatically added to projects that are created from opportunities.
We've added a new Product field to services deliverable records, which enables you to associate a Salesforce product with a specific deliverable, creating a one-to-one relationship between them. Then, when you create a project from an opportunity, any monetary-priced deliverables associated with the opportunity products are added to the new project automatically, along with their related records.
One project services deliverable is created for each unit of quantity specified on the opportunity product. The project services deliverable is priced according to the opportunity product's sales price. Each added deliverable is linked back to the originating opportunity product, ensuring full traceability.
This streamlines management and pricing for deliverables with monetary pricing. It also facilitates reporting and analysis of product performance within the context of the deliverable each product represents.
For more information, see:
- Creating a Project from an Opportunity
- Services Deliverables Overview
- Creating Services Deliverables and Deliverable Items
- Services Deliverable Fields
Automate Services Credits Management with Invocable Actions
You can now use the following new invocable actions to automate more services credits management tasks using Salesforce Flow Builder:
- Allocate Services Credits to Milestones - Manual Selection (ServiceCrdtsServiceActionManualAlloc)
- Adjust Services Credits on Milestones - Manual Selection (ManualAdjustMilestoneCreditsAction)
To maintain consistency with the new manual selection actions, we've also updated the labels of the existing automatic selection allocation and adjustment actions, as follows:
- Allocate Services Credits to Milestones (ServiceCrdtsServiceActionAllocCredsForMS) is now Allocate Services Credits to Milestones - Automatic Selection
- Adjust Services Credits on Milestones (ServiceCrdtsServiceActionAdjCreditsForMS) is now Adjust Services Credits on Milestones - Automatic Selection
For more information, see the Certinia Technical Pack.
Actuals Workspace
We have introduced a dedicated Actuals Workspace to help you monitor the health of your PSA Actuals calculations.
In this workspace, you can track actual background tasks. This is important because data inconsistencies require manual intervention.
From this workspace, you can:
- Review the status of current and past actual recalculation cycles to confirm they completed successfully.
- Identify the specific records that failed to process, enabling targeted fixes.
- View detailed error logs that explain why a process did not complete.
- View applogs specifically related to Actuals in a new, dedicated grid that replaces the standard list view.
- Search for specific app logs directly within the grid based on criteria such as Entry ID, Category, Origin, and so on to quickly locate exact records.
- Filter records in the data grid based on a date range and app log level to quickly narrow down and find the desired logs.
- Refresh the grid using a toolbar to instantly retrieve the most up-to-date log records.
- Read a clear "no data" message when the grid is empty, making it easy to understand the current state of your logs.
- View clear error messages if something goes wrong while fetching the log data.
- Retain your filter preferences automatically, ensuring your customized view remains even after you refresh the browser page.
- View error message when applying invalid filters, prompting you to review and resolve any issues before proceeding.
For more information, see Actuals Workspace Overview and Setting up the Actuals Workspace.
New APIActualsService API
We have introduced the following new methods in the APIActualsService API:
- getActualsAppLogs: This method returns app logs related to actuals calculations based on the provided query context. The method includes a structure containing the query parameters and a list of app log records that match the specified criteria. As an administrator, you can access all app logs associated with this process. This helps you diagnose errors and resolve issues that cause processes to become stuck.
- getActualsLockStatus: This method returns a structure containing the current state of the actuals lock, indicating whether the system is currently locked or unlocked. It also returns the specific process type that triggered the lock, providing you with clear visibility into system operations and blocking events.
- getRecalculationStatus: This method returns a structure containing the current state of the actuals recalculation, specifying whether a recalculation is actively running or not running. Similar to the lock status method, it provides the specific process type that triggered the recalculation, helping you accurately monitor ongoing system activity.
For more information about technical details, see the Certinia Technical Pack.
Active Resource Filtering for Work Planner Custom Contact Lookup Fields
We have added a new work-planner-filters-show-active-resources-only configuration option in Resource Settings. When this setting is set to its default true value, custom Contact lookup fields in the Work Planner filters only display active resources. This makes it easier to distinguish between active resources and any inactive resources or Contact records, and reduces ambiguity when searching for resources.
Manage Project-Specific Rate Cards with Rate Card Sets
You can now restrict rate cards to match only projects or opportunities that have a specific Rate Card Set assigned, and configure a Rate Card Set to fall back to other rate cards when no in-set match is found. This enables contracted project rates to take priority over your standard rate cards, ensuring that delivery and billing use the agreed rates.
You can control rate card set fallback independently for each rate type. Use the Rate Card Fallback (Bill), Rate Card Fallback (Cost), and Rate Card Fallback (Static) checkboxes on a Rate Card Set to specify which rate types fall back to matching rate cards outside the set when no in-set match is found.
You can now preserve negotiated contract rate cards on Resource Requests by selecting the new Use Contract Bill Rate Card, Use Contract Cost Rate Card, or Use Contract Rate Card checkboxes. Selecting a checkbox pins the corresponding rate card so that automatic rate card matching does not replace it. Each rate type is independently pinnable, and clearing a pin resumes standard matching.
You can now also pin bill, cost, and fixed rate cards directly on an Assignment, using the same Use Contract Bill Rate Card, Use Contract Cost Rate Card, and Use Contract Rate Card checkboxes now available on the Assignment. This protects a negotiated rate on an Assignment in the same way as on a Resource Request, regardless of how the Assignment was created, including when a resource is assigned directly to a project without a Resource Request.
For more information, see Rate Card Sets and Rate Card Set Fields.
